Nektar Natura Earns EcoVadis Bronze Medal, Ranking in the Top 35% of Companies Assessed

Nektar Natura EcoVadis Bronze medal – Top 35% sustainability rating

We’ve moved up on the EcoVadis sustainability assessment ladder. This year’s evaluation scored Nektar Natura at 68 out of 100 points, earning a Bronze medal and placing the company among the top 35% of all companies EcoVadis assessed over the past twelve months.

What EcoVadis measures

EcoVadis evaluates companies across four areas: environmental impact, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. The assessment is built on documentation — policies, certificates, data, and evidence of what a company actually does, not what it claims to do on a website or in a sales deck. That distinction is what gives the result weight: a Bronze medal reflects what an independent reviewer found in the underlying records, not a company’s own account of its practices.

What achieving Bronze required

Reaching this score meant gathering and organizing information across the entire business — how we manage energy use and packaging waste in production, our labor practices, and how we select and manage our own suppliers. None of this was new work invented for the assessment; it was a matter of documenting practices that were already in place well enough for an external body to verify them.

Why this matters for hospitality procurement

For hotels and HoReCa groups, supplier sustainability is becoming a real requirement rather than a preference. Many of our partners now need to report on the sustainability of their own supply chains, which means they need suppliers who can back up their sustainability claims with more than a statement on a website. An independent, third-party assessment like EcoVadis gives procurement and F&B teams exactly that: a documented, scored result they can point to when their own sustainability reporting is reviewed.

Our result

Nektar Natura DOO (Group) was awarded the EcoVadis Bronze medal in August 2026, scoring 68 out of 100 points and ranking in the top 35% of companies EcoVadis assessed in the preceding twelve months. The rating covers environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement at group level, and is valid through August 2027.

In our first year, we were rated “Committed”. The progress from that rating to this year’s Bronze medal shows that we are on the right track. We see this Bronze medal as a starting point rather than an endpoint. Our goal is to keep improving across all four areas EcoVadis measures, and to be able to show, year after year, that our sustainability efforts are real and measurable — not just marketing language.
